Southwest has the reputation of being a lower cost airline, but without charging fees for all amenities. 2 bags fly free with a Southwest ticket, and you are offered free drinks on their flights. This makes Southwest a great option for budget minded travelers!
Southwest has a rewards program called Rapid Rewards. Earn points by flying with Southwest, or by using a Rapid Rewards credit card. My husband and I have a Rapid Rewards credit card that we use extensively. We have redeemed our Rapid Rewards points for multiple free flights, and it has been an easy process to do so.
One thing I didn’t know about Southwest before we started traveling with them was that they actually fly to several destinations outside of the US. While their destinations are currently limited to the US, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, new destinations are being added all the time. I’m excited to see where Southwest heads next!
